We have known Achilles Peshos, Principal and Licensee of The Edge Property Agency, since May 2006 when we asked the team at The Edge to take over management of our investment properties.
Since that time Achilles has been actively engaged in all aspects of our portfolio, including selling two of our properties, managing our properties, monitoring our portfolio, providing advice, and ensuring that the team at The Edge provides us with a high standard of service.
In relation to property management, Achilles focuses on achieving the best possible yield in the context of changing market conditions. He works well with our Property Manager to provide any additional support, information and/or advice as required to protect our investments.
In 2009, Achilles Peshos and the team at The Edge successfully conducted the sale of two investment properties on our behalf. Our view is that in both cases the price achieved was as high as the market would bear and could not have been bettered by any other agency. Achilles is very focused on achieving the sale with the best possible result.
Although selling a property is naturally stressful, we found it reassuring to deal with Achilles. His advice was realistic and practical. He was attuned to the mood of the purchasers who inspected the properties. He kept us informed and responded promptly and honestly to our questions. He is always respectful. We believe these qualities also had a positive effect on potential buyers.

Daniela Todaro of The Edge Property Agency has been our Property Manager since January 2007. Since first meeting Daniela I have observed that, in carrying out her duties, she seeks constantly to improve and develop her professionalism, and to guard against complacency. I believe these personal qualities to be of great value to Daniela’s clients.
As a result, I am very satisfied with the service Daniela provides. From personal experience, the qualities I most appreciate are these:
1. Daniela listens and pays careful attention to her client (me).
2. She thinks about the ramifications of any situation, and explains them clearly and sensibly.
3. She does what she says she will do, to a high standard.
4. Daniela strives to be fair to all parties. She is crystal clear that her job is to protect my investments, but she recognises that tenants, tradespeople, etc. also have rights which must be respected.
Also, for any property investor, it is invaluable to have access to well-informed, honest advice. The field is increasingly complex, problems are part of the territory, and sometimes the optimum outcome is not worth the cost of attaining it. Daniela gives me realistic, balanced advice from her own sound judgement and, if necessary, can draw on the resources of her colleagues at The Edge.

I had been managing my own property for a few years and was reluctant to use the services of a Property Agent (as people had told me of negative experiences in the past and that Property Agents do not always have the same level of commitment that an owner would.) However, it became harder to manage once I moved to the Eastern Suburbs and I started to feel overwhelmed by the responsibility
I was renting an apartment in Randwick through The Edge Property Agency and their property manager Daniela Todaro was my key contact. I was impressed by Daniela's ability to manage the expectations from me as her tenant and the interests of the property owner. For example a few minor issues needed to be recitified and Daniela, while acknowledging the problem, never promised what could not be delivered and ensured the owner's permission was always sought prior to commencing any work. This made me feel that I was being dealt with fairly as a tenant and gave me comfort that if my property was managed by the Edge, my interests as an owner would be both protected and respected.
Once I signed on with the Edge, it was such a relief to have a sensible and capable person ready to deal with the unexpected - The fridge broke down (on a 41C day), Daniela was straight onto it! It only took 48 hours from notification to the tenant receiving a new fridge (and the old one being removed)!
I also appreciate being able to turn to Daniela for guidance on tenancy law, rental return rates and general questions - she gives the matter consideration and I can rely on her to be balanced and honest by giving me the pros and cons to help me make my decision.
I anticipate my property being with the Edge for a long time to come and have no hesitation in recommending their services!
